Here's a blast from the past that Chaz stumbled upon tonight in the depths of his clothing chest - an original FWB promo T-shirt printed for the
2010 Dundee Comics Conference - featuring the original red/grey/black livery, before it was changed to a more neutral yellow/grey/black combination.
(The background is a promo poster for the Russian movie
Daywatch - an all-time fave).
The reason for showing this off again is that the tee-shirt may possibly be seen walking around a couple of forthcoming Dundee comic/sci-fi conventions in the next month or so -
Deecon 2016 and/or
Geekmania - current folio-building and commission responsibilities permitting.
In the meantime, Fenriswulf comics, books and
Arf and Mo merchandise are still available from
the Black Hole comics store on Victoria Road, Dundee - and at a special Easter sale price, too! All comics are now only
£1, and all books
£2. Pop in if you're passing and pick up a piece of FWB history, for once they've gone, there'll be no more! However, we can't rule out the possibility that new material, previously unseen and new to print, may be manifesting in the Black Hole before too long - a strong candidate is the
Sword and the Ring graphic retelling of Wagner's opera
Das Rheingold - or perhaps Chaz and Frang's macabre headtrip of a graphic novel,
Leper Messiah. Or maybe something else entirely...who can tell?
And in other news, FWB are also planning a surprise St. Patrick's Day Amazon Kindle eBook release - or more strictly, a re-release, for that day only. Watch this space...
